LibraryCon 2025! In-Person

Join us for LibraryCon 2025 on April 5th, 9AM to 2PM! LibraryCon will take place at Papillion Landing. This event is free and open to the public. Below find info and links to all our LibraryCon events, workshops, trivia and so much more!

9AM - 2PM - VENDOR FAIR:      ALL AGES 

Join us in the Community Gym to meet local vendors, craftspeople, and artists! Browse all the fair has to offer and maybe even take something home.

9AM - 2PM - FOOD TRUCKS:      ALL AGES 

Find four food trucks in the parking lot to the east of the Community Gym. Tables and chairs will be available in Chrysalis Suites 2 and 3. Food trucks will be:

9AM - 2PM - COSPLAY COMPETITION:    ALL AGES 

Show off your costume and enter into our Cosplay Competition. Visit the Digital Library Classroom to enter the Cosplay Contest. You will need to fill out a brief form and get your picture taken. Winners will be contacted on April 7th and announced via social media. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the following categories:

  • Kids (ages 12 and under)
  • Teens (ages 13-18)
  • Adult (ages 19+)
  • Group (2 or more people)

 

LC2025 Events:

10AM - 11:30AM - FANDOM TRIVIA: Chrysalis Room #2 & #3     ALL AGES    Registration 

Try your luck at this unhinged trivia featuring the following fandoms: Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Mario, Marvel/DC, and Disney. Winners will get a prize! Registration is encouraged.  Register here.

10AM - 11AM - MANDO ARMOR COLORING WORKSHOP #1: Art Room     KIDS   TWEENS    TEENS    Registration 

Join the Mando Mercs, 501st, and Rebel Legion in coloring your own Mando Armor. Cosplayers will then help participants tape the armor onto their shirts to showcase during the rest of LibraryCon. Registration is required here.

12:30PM - 2PM - SUPER SMASH TOURNAMENT: Chrysalis Room #2   ALL AGES    Registration 

Test your Super Smash skills in this fast paced tourney! Winners get a prize! All ages welcome. Registration is encouraged here.

1PM - 2PM - MANDO ARMOR COLORING WORKSHOP #2: Art Room     KIDS   TWEENS    TEENS    Registration

LC2025 Activities:

RAFFLE GIVEAWAYS: Library Table    ALL AGES 

We will have three raffle baskets to give away. Stop by the Library Table when you first enter to collect your day-pass along with three raffle tickets. Each attendee receives three raffle tickets. Raffles will be available in the Landing Lobby. Winners will be drawn on Monday, April 7th and contacted. Please be sure to write a phone number or email on your raffle tickets.

Self-guided crafts will be available throughout the event in Chrysalis Room #1.

LEGOS: Digital Library Interactive Lab    ALL AGES 

Build to your heart's content with the Library's collection of Legos!

BOARD GAMES & SENSORY SPACE: 55+ Club    ALL AGES 

Need a quieter space to enjoy? The 55+ Club will have board games and sensory bins available.

PHOTO BOOTH: Landing Lobby (right outside the Community Gym)    ALL AGES

Take a picture with our full sized TARDIS!

DOG MAN SCAVENGER HUNT: Landing Community Center    ALL AGES 

Explore the Landing's Community Center by trying to find 10 different Dog Man characters! Find them all and get a sticker and be entered to win a Dog Man-themed basket.
