Fiber Arts Fridays: Willa Cather and Quilts In-Person
Willa Cather’s earliest memory of art was sitting under quilting frames as a child. In this presentation by Evelyn Haller of Doane University, slides will illustrate the quilts Cather names in her fiction — especially in her WWI novel “One of Ours,” as well as related Cather sites and materials. This presentation is made possible by Humanities Nebraska and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
